Filtered Water Bottles

We are all familiar with grabbing our favorite travel water bottle, filling it up and running out the door. But what if you are in a situation where you don’t have any fresh water available? If this is something you are often faced with, perhaps you should look at a Filtered Water Bottle.

It’s exactly as it sounds really, it’s a water bottle with a mini filter in it. Most of us at this point have a water filter of some sort at home or are at least familiar with them. For those that just wish to have something to carry around and use at home than this is not for you unless you are not using a filter of any kind. If you do have access to drinkable water at home, then the added filter in this is not needed and you would be better off with a general water bottle. The added filter can make the bottle a little bulky and clunky and if you can do without then don’t bother. Plus the speed at which the water pours will be a bit slower as the water is filtered.

Now if you are someone who goes out on your bike all the time or maybe you take something to work with you and are often left without a source of clean water, then this is definitely something you should look into. When searching for one of these do the usual water bottle checks, make sure it is BPA free and has some sort of odor protection. Also it would be wise to verify how much the replacement filters are and how easily replaceable they are. It wouldn’t be too much use if you couldn’t replace the filter and end up having to buy another. That sort of defeats the whole purpose of reusable water bottles doesn’t it?

Here at Collapsible Water Bottle, we have selected a few bottles that have great consumer reviews and should have replacement filters readily available to purchase or order. Please have a look.

Clear2GO Water Bottle with Filter

This is a pretty basic no frills filtered water bottle. It does the job and without any hassle and is known to be a reliable water bottle for as long as you need. Only common complaint is the slow speed of the water coming out, but that’s the case with all filtered water bottles. Replacements are easily ordered along with the bottle.

Corn-based Water Bottle with Built-in Filter

Personally, I like other water bottles over this as far as its performance. But the Eco friendly nature of this cannot be overlooked. The fact that (with the right procedures) it is biodegradable is a huge step in the right direction for water bottles, even a reusable has a lifespan and with the need of more green products, this is certainly a great move.

Eco Vessel Stainless Steel Filtered Water Bottle with Built-in Water Filter

This is a very well performing filtered water bottle; it has a nice sleek look and great durability for long lasting use. It has some great consumer reviews and seems to be a winner. The only complaint would be the expensive filters are (at this moment) only readily available from the manufacturer site. However each filter is promised to easily filter over 100gallons before a replacement.
